FAQ

Who makes the films?

Earth 2050, a UK charity. Each film is created by a team of researchers, writers, directors, 3D artists and animators, working with external scientific experts. All films are narrated by Stephen Fry.

May I show the films in class or at an event?

Yes. They are free to show, share and embed, with credit to Earth2050.com. The illustrated guide on each film page is free to print.

Which languages?

Twenty. The English film is the original; the other versions are translated with the help of AI and checked by people. Tell us at info@earth2050.com if something reads incorrectly. Where a translation differs from the English, the English version applies.

Can I use the films commercially, or edit them?

Only with our written permission: info@earth2050.com.

How can I support Earth 2050?

Share the films, use them in your teaching, and write to info@earth2050.com if you can help.

Will Earth 2050 ever ask me for money or personal details by email?

No. We do not run prize draws or send payment requests. If a message in our name does, it is not from us: ignore it, and in the UK you can report it to Action Fraud.
